We post information about class reunions as we are notified about them. We do not organize reunions! If you know of any other reunions, or would like your class reunion listed here, please drop us an E-mail with the pertinent information. Reunion Cruise for classes 1954 - 1966 (50th reunion for 1961 and 1962)
July 8, 2012 This will be a 7 night cruise to Alaska on the Sapphire Princess.
We will sail round trip from Seattle. We will be
doing the inside passage. The stops will be to Ketchikan, cruising
Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway, cruising the Pacific Ocean, Victoria
BC. Canada and back to Seattle.
Reservations are being taken now. The deposit of
$100 per person is due by February 24th this year. After that date the
deposit wil go up to 20% of the total cost of the trip. There will also
be a coupon booklet to those who book this February valued at $325.
This will give you discounts on the ship.

Verdugo Hills High School, Class of 1971 – “Ireaneans” Reunion Questions & Answers When and where? Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 4:00 PM to midnight. Steve (S’69) and Debbie (Ross) Palchanis have offered their Simi Valley back yard for the event. FYI, there’s plenty of room. They’ve hosted two weddings, each with over 200 guests. Will it be a semi-formal affair? July weather, an outdoor venue and a “laid back” atmosphere should encourage casual attire. One of the many popular slogans from our generation was, “do your own thing.” So, plan on dressing casual, cowboy chic, 60’s psychedelic, semi-formal, beach or…. whatever. PS Bring a coat for the evening as cool ocean air from nearby Oxnard and Ventura is known to cool things down at night. Where can out-of-towners spend the night? The nearby Grand Vista Hotel has already set-aside a block of rooms at the attractive price of $80 per night. They will also provide shuttle service between hotel and event. What’s planned for dinner? There will be plenty of finger food leading up to a delicious dinner -- Santa Maria Style BBQ served buffet style. Vegetarian plates will be available. What about refreshments? Price will include drink tickets for beer, wine, frozen daqaris, mai tais and margaritas. There will also be an assortment of sodas and plenty of water. What type of entertainment is being planned? Bring your dancing slippers and plan to move to the music of the late 60’s through ’71. A DJ will keep the party moving and…. adjust the volume throughout the night to allow for conversation. Where do we go from here? Easy. This will allow you plenty of time to find great air fares and grab a room at the Grand Vista Hotel. By the way, our goal is around $50 per person. Please respond asap AND please notify classmates with whom you’re still in touch. Don’t assume they are already connected to facebook.com, classmates.com or the schools alumni website. VHHS Alumni? Absolutely! It’s no secret that many friendships and marriages bridged
various years. So, all are welcome
