How to Get Included!

Yearbook is committed to making sure everyone gets a chance to be a part of the tradition. We’re constantly looking for photos, interviews, and contributions from YOU .

The Yearbook would like to include your organization in the latest edition of our book. Therefore, we would like to know when and where your group meeting is so one of our photographers can come take your yearbook photo.

If you want to have your group included in the Yearbook for this year, we need you to contact us as soon as possible to so that your group can be pictured. We are trying our best to schedule the best time for fall/ spring semester. Alternatively, if you already have a current group photo from this year, you may submit the photo instead.

Please choose one of the options below and respond to to ensure your group is not left out!

  1. Take the photo yourself.

Have a professional photo of your group or organization emailed to with the subject line: “Photo Submission for [group name]” Please include your name, group name, list of clearly labeled member names, and group description. Submitted photos must be in their original high-resolution digital format.

  1. Request a photo to be taken.

Have your club president send an email to with the subject line “Photo Request for [group name]” with a preferred time, date, and location you and your group are available for a photo-shoot. One of our photographers will contact you to confirm the appointment. Please note that our photographers will only be available for 15 minutes during the scheduled photo-shoot and cannot wait for late group members to arrive. Please be prompt!

We look forward to working together to commemorate your group in the Yearbook. Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Senior Quote Guidelines

Senior Quotes The deadline for Senior Quotes is on October 1,2018.

Your quote should be well chosen and represent your best qualities, as it will serve as a record of who you are for years to come. The quote and accompanying photo will help others remember you after graduation. If the quote is ambiguous or has a negative connotation, the school administration will have the right to determine whether the quote is published in the yearbook. If you do not follow the guidelines below, your quote will not be included and you will not have a quote appear under your name in the yearbook.

If you are unsure as to whether or not your quote will be acceptable, please check with the yearbook adviser in room 139 during the recess or

As we have yearbook printing deadlines to meet, the staff may not have time to return your quote to you for revision.

Submit your quote (including spaces and punctuation marks) to  before October 1, 2018.

Guidelines for Senior Quotes

All Quotes need to follow the Guidelines below. Failure to follow guidelines will result in the exclusion of your quote.

  • All quotes must be limited to the allotted characters/spaces total for the year. Yes, spaces between words count and need to be included (it changes each year).
  • NO acronyms
  • NO profanity, slang, obscene, offensive or inappropriate language
  • NO references to cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, sex, gangs, gang-affiliated words or phrases and or cliques
  • NO language that denigrates another person's ethnicity, religious/ political beliefs, sexuality, gender, physical or mental ability etc.
  • NO derogatory  comments about the school, students, faculty or staff members
  • NO shout-outs to or about other students or teachers. This rule is in place because of the potential of a quote offending the person it references. We do not have the time to check and keep records of who does and does not approve of being mentioned in another student’s quote.
  • NO student or faculty may be quoted in the yearbook. There are many great quotes that can be reflective of you, you will find them.
  • Your quote must be in Standard English. NO abbreviations, NO creative spelling or questionable/inappropriate content.
  • All quotes are subject to review by administration and the yearbook staff. Failure to follow guidelines will result in the exclusion of your quote.
  • If you aren’t sure whether or not your quote will pass this review or if you have a question, contact us at or stop by Room 139 during the recess.

Due to the volume of students, not all questions may be answered. Over 300 seniors turn in Senior quotes. Nearly all of those students wait until the very last day to turn in their quote and nearly all of those students have a question because they did not take the time to read these guidelines!

** Make sure to add the quotation marks and the name of the person who is credited with the quote.

Your quote should be well chosen and represent your best assets, as it will record who you are for years to come. If the quote is ambiguous or may have a negative connotation, the editors, staff, and advisor reserve the final right to determine whether it is published in the yearbook.
