Dick & Tom Smothers
Verdugo Hills High School

How would you describe The Smothers Brothers to someone who was not familiar with their act? They are part comedians, part singers and musicians, and part social satirists. Anyone who ever had the opportunity to watch their television show will forever have fond memories of many of the skits including "Mother always liked you best" and "Pat Paulsen for President."

In addition to their stage show, Dick and Tom have also been featured on the silver and little screens. Dick appeared in Tales of the Unexpected with Arthur Hill, Don Johnson, Samantha Eggar and Sharon Gless. Tom's screen credits include Get To Know Your Rabbit with John Aston, Katherine Ross and Orson Welles; the voice of Ted E. Bear in the animated feature The Bear Who Slept Through Christmas with Arte Johnson and Barbara Feldon; Pandemonium with Carol Kane and Tab Hunter; and Serial with Martin Mull, Tuesday Weld and Sally Kellerman.
