VHHS remains the only high school to serve the Tujunga Valley community since opening its doors in September of 1937. VHHS has grown in size and scope of programs, but what has remained consistent is our commitment to excellence.

Over 50% of VHHS students participate in over 20 team sports, ranging from football to golf. Our long-standing tradition of excellence in athletics is rooted in our commitment to help develop off-the-field talents in our student-athletes that include cooperation, dedication, leadership and perseverance.

Athletic Forms

In order for students to participate in athletics the forms must be completed online through www.athleticclearance.com

PHYSICALS- must be turned into the coach or athletic director

-Physicals are good for one calendar year. The form is attached below and can also be printed through www.athleticclearance.com

-The first page is a health history. Any "yes" responses require an explanation.

-The second page is the actual physical. It must be SIGNED and STAMPED by a licensed physician.

-Chiropractor evaluations are NOT accepted.

All students must provide proof of insurance. A copy of the card must be uploaded to your athleticclearance.com account. If you do not have insurance the district is contracted with K and K Insurance to meet your athletic insurance needs.
