VHHS remains the only high school to serve the Tujunga Valley community since opening its doors in September of 1937. VHHS has grown in size and scope of programs, but what has remained consistent is our commitment to excellence.

Over 50% of VHHS students participate in over 20 team sports, ranging from football to golf. Our long-standing tradition of excellence in athletics is rooted in our commitment to help develop off-the-field talents in our student-athletes that include cooperation, dedication, leadership and perseverance.

Jonathan Bernard

Mr. Bernard is a first-year teacher new to the profession and our STEM² Magnet. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Los Angeles in 2020 with a BA in English, and completed his teaching credential program in the Spring of 2022. He is an upbeat and enthusiastic educator, thrilled to apply his knowledge and experience to his own classroom.
