VHHS remains the only high school to serve the Tujunga Valley community since opening its doors in September of 1937. VHHS has grown in size and scope of programs, but what has remained consistent is our commitment to excellence.

Over 50% of VHHS students participate in over 20 team sports, ranging from football to golf. Our long-standing tradition of excellence in athletics is rooted in our commitment to help develop off-the-field talents in our student-athletes that include cooperation, dedication, leadership and perseverance.

Victoria Lopez

VHHS MUSIC TEACHER 2023

Mrs. Lopez went to Belmont High School in Los Angeles and received her Bachelor of Music at California State University Los Angeles. She is currently one of the directors with the All District Honor Band, and she currently plays with the CSULA orchestra. She teaches many programs at Verdugo Hills High School such as Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Winter Drumline, Winterguard, and small instrumental ensembles.
