VHHS remains the only high school to serve the Tujunga Valley community since opening its doors in September of 1937. VHHS has grown in size and scope of programs, but what has remained consistent is our commitment to excellence.

Over 50% of VHHS students participate in over 20 team sports, ranging from football to golf. Our long-standing tradition of excellence in athletics is rooted in our commitment to help develop off-the-field talents in our student-athletes that include cooperation, dedication, leadership and perseverance.

Humanitas

Humanitas is an interdisciplinary program with honors-level courses. Students learn English and Social Studies within a cohort model throughout the entire 4-years, inspiring team learning in a robust curricular framework.
