VHHS STEMM offers 4 flexible College Prep Pathway Programs

Engineering

Working in partnership with Mission College, courses are taught by college faculty on our campus, giving students the ability to earn credits toward an Associate Arts degree, while pursuing their high school diploma.

Computer Science

Features two Advanced Placement courses, robotics, cyber security, and advanced game design.

Mathematics

Students complete up to six years of math, including AP Calculus and AP Statistics, in just - four years.

AP Capstone

Students learn and apply college ready research and writing skills through AP Seminar and AP Research.

Verdugo Hills High School follows a college-style 4x4 block schedule. Students complete up to six years of math, including AP Statistics, in just four years. This schedule provides greater focus and more opportunities for our students to explore their interests through electives, Advanced Placement, and college courses.

Our active partnership with UC Irvine's Department of Biology benefits students who are interested in life sciences and careers in medicine by providing guest lectures, mentorship from UCI undergraduates, and summer internship opportunities.
